Thetford aqua-magic starlite

Hi we have a Laika 1999 with a thetford aqua-magic starlite loo.
We've hardly used the moho for the last 2 or 3 years and the last coue of times we have been out in her we've had a problem with the loo.
As soon as we switch the pump on at the panel the loo starts to fill and doesn't stop, it carries on for a short while after we've turned the pump back off too.
It means we can't have any running water. Any ideas what could be causing it, the Manuel isn't any help.

The flush valve has failed in the open position. Often caused by freezing. Need a new valve.
The flush valve is basically a valve that allows water to pass or not controlled via the switch. Normal position is closed (no water flowing) then being opened by applying voltage to it.
That would be my guess.
