Well get a lock for it!! I just laid out for a roofbox to 'put away' and 'out of site' stuff like that and it has LOCKS, so no excuse at all I'm afraid, lock it if you leave it, SIMPLE :winky:

In an ideal world yes - but ever heard of bolt cutters?? If people want to steal they find a way - even alarms have limited use!

Mr Swift...

I was wondering if you really enjoy winding people up?

I picture you chortling away as you read people getting crosser and crosser...

I understand you feel I am bossy etc and at the risk of appearing even more so, I feel the need to point out that many of your replies come in a very blunt style. This style tends to stand out like a sore thumb on a site where the ambience is generally some what calmer.

I believe that you are fully aware of the effect of these sections of your posts and you enjoy the wind up... I can't think of any other explanation...

I have to confess to be drawn to them... just like some people are fascinated by watching car crashes or moths are attracted to flames which lead them to their deaths...

When are you off for your holidays? :hardhat:

JJ, I think its better to be straight than back stabbing, I understand that a lot of people want an easy life and just go along with the crowd, but then you don't explore new things, you become a clone.

Debate is great but some people seem to have it in for me, they can be quite rude :Eeek: Anyway off to Disneyland Paris on Friday, then heading South for the month so I may get more sense from French Micky than some on here who have been on the bottle or bottles of wine in the case of ladies :winky:

Anyway I'm off for swim before bed, sleep tight ::bigsmile:

It is a wind up then? :winky:

It must be, right?:winky:

You want people to "have it in for you"::thumb:

You are exploring new things by seeing how far you can wind people up?

If people don't follow your preachings they are clones or drunk?

This really is great stuff...:thumb:

JJ

PS. Is "debating" the same as "point scoring"?

John's (JAWS) original post wasn't an opening for debate - it was a friendly warning to other folks travelling this summer - you started the debate!:Eeek:

I think we had better get used to crime. When the only way out is for major countries to inflate their debts away it means the poorest will get disproportionately hurt and some will feel more than justified taking from the better off. If I had lost my job through no fault of my own due to cuts and my family was hungry, what choice would I have particularly as even benefits will not cover the steep rises to come for basic needs.

People who are manipulating this inflation have incomes and wealth sufficient to sale through without hardly an issue. We will get a divided society between those that have and those that have not and the have nots will have nothing because those that have will have taken it all away in taxes, fuel bills, food bills, clothing bills, reduced services and the normal greed we have come to expect.

I have just bought IP cameras and I am certainly tightening up on security in readiness for partial anarchy and race wars.

Still, I think its important to remain optimistic even though I am unable to to do it. :ROFLMAO:

Of course you are quite right !!
I have various excuses for my lack of humour.

1) I was tired

2) It was late

3) I am male

4) Somebody left a DM on the table and I inadvertently glanced at it

5) A cat was in th egarden

6) .. wellllll.. I could go on all day ! ::bigsmile:

But please do not close the thread as the warning / info IS still relevant

I don't think he was referring to you Pusser:Smile:

You are very kind but I do get carried away so even if it is not meant for me, it is a lesson. Luckily the Samaritans were not engaged so I was able to get straight through and get sorted out. I'm very sensitive but I'm moving on. :ROFLMAO:
