Hi Steve, could you post on the Northern motorhome show meet thread? there are 19 vans listed and I am still trying to locate the missing 8 some have said they have booked with fun but not let anyone know. Not a massive problem as there are only a few of us, but still makes my life a tincy bit easier.


Now on to this thread?

I think it's time for Warners to be pushed away. I think's its ridiculous that they can not accomadate a large club rally. They always know there's a good turn out so why on earth not allocate decent space?

And sorry Bob, I know your in a chair and don't mean to sound abrupt or rude but the needs of the many will always outweigh the needs of the few in terms of areas to go on to. But, being funsters, you know we would lift you and your chair or aframe it to Tara and Izzy to get you across to the show wherever that is placed.

Warners = don't like fun for some reason, im sure of it.

Letting the marshals know that you are going to a show and any other details they may ask for is a matter of being polite, a bit of etiquette. Also letting marshals know if you change your mind, or circumstances prevent you from arriving when you are expected (a private message is best, in advance of when you were due) If it is an event which you pay for on arrival, and with limited spaces, people who put their names down must let marshals know if they, once again, cannot attend. All this was on a thread which asked for what is only good manners, that you shot down Paul. Jane

Jane I have Absoloutly no idea what your talking about or why you should choose to highlight it on this thread? If there's an issue you have that I m unaware of then perhaps you would be better to PM me?


Any how I know now why warners were full and feel I must publicly apologise o them.
When the show's are booked they ask roughly how many would the club expectbo bring. In his case it was said 65 which is the same number aslast year.

Once that number is reached they close booking for that club unless they are told otherwise. some clubs will only allow so many people to come and that is how the limit is reached.

So apologies to warners, amazing what you learn when you are setting up at a show sharing a drink with the organisers and Marshalls :thumb:

Pam has to go in hospital around that time so we can't go. I have ticket for two if anyone is interested. Not sure how to go about swapping them over, I suppose I could just say I have changed the Van and have a new registration number.

Why not see if they will change it to another show for you so you can still have some 'fun'!
