Front driving wheels are on good solid stuff. If it doesn't rain for the next couple of days we will be OK.
Hope it stays fine as we plan to get the washing machine out tomorrow. We've been on the road for nearly three weeks so the laundry bag is starting to hum a bit.

Weather in Tafraoute is sunny, 15*C and rising. Bit chilly here last night, woke up to the MH covered in frost but once the sun came over the mountains it soon disappeared. Looks like it's going to be another glorious day here.

Came over the pass (7,500ft plus) from Telouet to Marakesh day before yesterday. I did plan to stay ovenight at the top but couldn't pull in to the parking. Road lined with snow pushed by plough about 4ft deep. At bit lower we saw a river frozen solid. You lot back home in the UK don't know you are born LOL
It is definitely parkier north side of the High Atlas.

Introduced the wfe to the pressings. It all comes back ironed in cellophane wrappers for pence. Wash day is a thing of the past. Moi the hero.

Laundries, look and there is one on every block. Very good and very cheap. 24hr turn around back ironed and in cellophane. Look for the sign "pressings" or "prissings". Wife is now addicted.

That means she will expect the same service everywhere you go and not everywhere is as cheap as Morocco. And the worst thing is she will now tell all the other ladies who will also expect to be liberated from their washing machines!

We have our own washing maching and spinner so can do washing anywhere .

Time to slow down, that is one place to chill out in for a good few days. Don't leave 'till you know every street well. It's one reason we returned.

You are so right Brian, it is time to slow down. We are going to spend a few days on this site a few K away from the town, get the washing done, chill out a bit then move to the aire in the outskirts of the town and explore. The beach is gorgeous here and the site is quiet and peaceful, especially after Marrakech.
