Excuse my ignorance but I have to ask and I'm sure that I'm going to get some really wacky and funny answers on this subject. Why do people put their outside light on when on a campsite and all they do is sit indoors?

I put mine on as it is motion activated, that way if you aproach my van without a bottle I can assure you will have a well lit approach and exit.

I always thought it attracted insects and stopped them coming into the van when the door opened, but you break your leg tripping over the dog in the dark inside the van.

“I’ve paid for the hook up,I’ll bxxxxy well use it”!

I adopt that attitude with the Caravan and Camping Club.

I was on a site once at about 11-30am and booked a pitch for the following night.

About half an hour later our plans changed following a phone call but we couldn’t cancel:rolleyes:

So now on on C&CC sites I don’t exactly save energy(y)

If not actually going in and out, it’s mostly when I just forget it’s on. Forgetting is happening more often these days, so should I a) see a doctor, b) drink less wine c) drink more wine?

When the motorhome is blown over in the night it helps to know which side it is lying on.
