We were right by the track and yes, they are a bit of a pain but not to bad.
No I didn't try the mixed grill but I certainly will now if I ever stay there again::bigsmile:.

I only live in Chepstow, only ate there once many years ago, food was very good. Is there a site close by?

We stayed in the bunk house at the Pandy Inn for my sons stag weekend, driving hovercraft and buggy's at a nearby activity centre. Must agree food at the Pandy was excellent .

Stayed at the Pandy site last year, the Pandy Inn is excellent for food and drink, highly recommended:thumb:

The Pandy site however is immaculate, has excellent facilities, (although the wi-fi wasn't working when we stayed), but the warden and his wife were less than welcoming.... In fact, they were downright unfriendly and ignorant.

Oh yes, and the trains..... To be honest, the trains weren't really a problem.

Dogman is right. It's a great little pub ,the staff are welcoming and the caravan club site next door is really nice. We were on the other side to the trains but hey it's a holiday . No prob.

I go there frequently, great CC site, BUT, I found the food in the Pandy Inn absolutely appalling, always self cater there now !

And, the drinks are overpriced, especially the Guinness !!:Doh::Doh:

Stayed here in June this year....corking little site !
The pub is a two minute walk....out the site, turn right 50 yds......happy days.
HOWEVER....I think it has probably deteriorated since the OP posted, the place is looking run down and quite scruffy and the food very basic but not cheap. The staff were not welcoming either.
Would I go again.....yes the beer was great and its really really close to an excellent site.
