Lovely birds,probably my favourite. We have a barn owl box,and had a pair for a couple of years about 5 years ago. Each time they produced about 10 eggs but none hatched,assumed infertile . Since then,nothing. Given their food and habitat requirements,it’s a miracle that they survive. The odds do seem to be stacked against them.
Tawny’s still doing ok though.

We saw a barn owl last night on the CS were on. To dark for a photo but nice to see it fly.
