Am I the only paid up, subscribed, Fun member who has not been given access to the personal message facility (aka 'conversations')?

I've sent messages, raised 'tickets', mentioned it on the forum and phoned Jim personally over the last 5 days and I'm still excluded!

I've exhausted all available options, all of which have been ignored.

A member had a similar problem last year and it was sorted in good time ...I'm not looking for recriminations ...I just want to be able to have a private conversation with other members in the same way that the rest of you can.

It's no fun being excluded.

Yes, did ALL of that, helluva lot more than once, even put up a screen shot showing that it's not there

I have had a quick look and can see no reason why you cannot use conversations.

It requires digging into some more and I've just been incredibly busy this past few days. Sending me numerous email and phoning me at home won't speed it up..on the contrary!

I will look again today if I can. I think its something to do with your profile after you left or were banned before (I can't remember) that needs looking at.

Thanks Jim, I had no idea that you were doing anything about it until this response... hence the repeated requests.

IIRC you lifted the ban after about a week and there were no further problems with membership or access... could it be the transition from 'read only' to paid up member?

Maybe it would be quicker all round if I re-registered and you sort out a new Fun membership?

Jim may not be vindictive.......but the forum software has a long memory and an evil streak.

That’s because you are hiding your online status. When you hide you can’t see anyone else but me. When you allow people to see you online; you can see who is online. It’s only fair.

The day started well, took the bandages off and the hand is looking good ...downside is that I can now get me Marigolds on which means I'll have to do me washing up(!)

but I can now send and receive pms (conversations)
