A few years ago, I bought a 'Furniture Moving Kit'. It's like a pair of long flimsy roller skates with a small jacking tool. Idea is, you lever up the heavy cabinet (or whatever) with the jacking tool, then slide the pairs of skates under and hey presto - you wheel the furniture item out on the 'skates'. Simples!

At first attempt at using it, trapped my bloody fingers!!

Still got it in the garage; WHY ???

Electric rice cooker, pasta maker, ice cream maker.
All on Gumtree at the moment after clearing out a kitchen cupboard.
Gwen is a sucker for gadgets at car boot sales.
Drives me crackers "where are you going to put it? What are you going to do with it?" I ask her.
"Shut up!" she says.

Give us half an hour to go through the cupboard and then pop round to Acklam with your wallet - we'll have an exclusive boot sale for you

Just found this, does it count as a useless gadget? It's a sign which says flower garden to put in your flower garden!

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!

It's great for casseroles. Make plenty and then add extra veg to what's left to make soup. Saves buying a soup maker then :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Although I like to make curry and eat "fresh" ie more or less straight away rather than leave till the next day (used to do this) slow cookers are brilliant for making curries with tougher meats, lamb on the bone, knuckle, goat, shin beef etc

Wouldn't be without the slow cooker. Have made a couple of batches of broth this year already and lunches are sorted for a week or so. Make enough for about 6/7 portions and freeze. Lovely with fresh bread from the bread maker!

Sold our little used Jack LaLane juicer at a car boot sale last year, still have a multi-jaw, multi-swivel, multi-clamp, multi-position, multi-use vice, ( unused) in the shed, we use our slow cooker, ice cream maker, bread maker, Karcher window cleaner and soda stream.
However, our new Magimix juicer is still virtually unused in the pantry.
I think everyone is destined to be a juicer owner.....just in case.

I was lucky when I moved into my new house as the previous owners liked gadgets. Opened up a cupboard and found, smoothie maker, electric fondue machine, Britex kettle with filter and finally a juicer. Save me a fortune, they are all still in the same cupboard, if I get rid of them I'd only fill the empty space with other gadgets

The Karcher window vac is one gadget that we thought would definitely go into the "use once and put in a cupboard" category. However, it is a great bit of kit for the windows, especially the windscreen on the van (A class and very big) plus the patio windows etc.

Mother in law had an electric carving knife - a truly frightening bit of kit best left at the back of the cupboard

I cleared out my Mum's garage on Friday, or rather cleared a path for her to the fuse box and freezer that are in there.

My late Step Dad was a keeper of things.

Once I had edged round the dismantled Triumph Spitfire, I cleared out 6 electric drills, 3 hedge cutters, an assortment of tools, pressure washers, a digger, 3 work benches, thousands of torches, 3 hatchets, 2 bird tables and best of all a generator which I think I might have.

How many of these items actually work, remains to be seen:D
