Did Moselle this year in June/July and two years ago in September. Take your time as others have advised, Stellplatz every few miles. Larger ones can be very busy, however, smaller ones as we discovered may be virtually empty. Although having said that- Large spot at Klasserwrath (maybe nit speelt korecktly!) that apparently could take up to 400 motorhomes. We were there and there were about 40 vans, loads of space. Never had to pull out of anywhere because there were no spaces. I have mobility issues but can cycle, - invested in an electric bike and found great cycle routes along the Moselle, managed to clock up 307 miles this year along the Moselle, bike is great for checking out the next village parking along the river. Some places do not take credit cards, but as we were prepared this was never an issue. Emission stickers are not required in this area. (yet)(y) Go and enjoy, we found folks in these parts quite friendly and helpful.
