I may (or not) be correct. But I interpret the recent changes to indicate that any group maximum is 6. But at "events" etc; as long as each group of 6 is "socially distanced" from the next group of 6. Then they are in compliance?.

Of course how that will work in practice, will to say the least, be interesting.

Before COVID you'd have missed out by not being with the Funsters at Lincoln. Our rally area there is great, and we have a massive marquee to ourselves, with a couple of events and Breakfast on Sunday. Sadly there are no rally areas at these events right now, so by being parked up with the C&C you're missing nothing. Have Fun anyway (y)

I believe this site can be prone to flooding in very heavy rain (local knowledge).
And its more than 20 mins from Lincoln showground, in my opinion.
More like 30 to 35 mins. šŸ˜Š

Just a year
I was thinking about going there on Saturday or Sunday but if there aren't many stands then probably not worth a trip from Essex.

Hi all
Friday here we are sat at Lincoln Show, rain psssing down, wind gusting.. blowing peoples rain hoods off their coats.
Very few stalls, we're here just to try the van out after long storage and to meet up for a sale we advertised on Fun Classified.
In my opinion Don't Bother .. grumpy'ol'git.
There is little opportunity to socialise and meet other m'homers.

I agree with the above the weather is wet and very windy , very few traders here and half of them that are here have not bothered to open for the wind and rain

Yes I agree with the above if I had not paid Ā£55 for the weekend I would be off home today.Great way to blow the cobwebs away probably onto the next van.
also some knob behind me started his Jenny at 8.30 this morning.
and last night at 10pm Another had his engine running.
Ya carnt make it up.

Well, I am working in Lincoln today and have just had a quick shuftie at the showground.
The car park for day visitors has good solid ground, despite rain and is well maintained.
Car parking is separated to motorhome parking and well spaced.
Yes it's a bit windy, but fairly dry with only occasional drizzle at present and some weak sunshine.
And judging by the number of vans in the car park and in the camping areas, it can't be all bad.
Organisers said they are maintaining, or requesting, sensible social distancing, and from the approach roads, the event looks quite big.
Just get your Autumn gear on and get out and enjoy.
God only knows many have been moaning about not being to go anywhere due to lock down etc, and then when something comes along you can go to, they still moan (It's a bit cold, it's windy, not many to talk too, not the right traders etc etc).
The only drawback I can see is the roadworks on the Riseholme roundabout on the A15 approach road causing single file traffic from dual lane, and the expected, but short lived delay in accessing or exiting.
I am coming back tomorrow with the family and the van for the day.
Ā£10 for a day out in the fresh air (2pairs of 5 pound tickets) and a good nosey round the stalls for 4 adults and 2 kids has got to be good value.
6 big Macs cost more than that!

Well if they all disappear, there will be a couple of dealers in Newark and other areas busy at the weekend

Just come home from the show.we booked for the weekend. But hardly any stalls as already said.Weather very windy and not looking like a good weekend. To be honest if you are travelling far i wouldn't bother. Expensive weekend for sitting in a field. Only good thing we caught up with a few motorhome friends. But only sat outside Thursday evening. Due to covid. Weather not good enough to sit out today. šŸ˜„

Feeling it for the traders gale force NW winds after a wet morning, at least 5 stalls were wrecked, others gave up mid afternoon to the disappointment of us all but I canā€™t blame them, hope tomorrow is better but high winds yet again forecast.
