Personal view.. Folk have an unrealistic expectation of how long their batteries will last.
With a lot of time spent making a living from one form of transport or another I have always been amazed by 'but I fitted a new battery a couple of years ago' only to find said battery is ancient to say the least !

So did ours until this morning, flat vehicle battery almost 5 years old so could end of line or a serious voltage drain. Check that out shortly.
Just been to have a look at ours battery 13.1 volts and all the squares full, showing .6 a charging
