And to avoid any misunderstanding, the French are in revolt...
Just to let those planning on traveling in France this weekend there will be widespread protest across the country protesting fuel prices.
The intention is that "les gilets jaunes" will be blocking access to petrol stations to protest about steep increases in tax on fuel. The principal day of protests is Saturday 17th Novemeber. (Gilets Jaunes - Yellow Vests - those HiVis vests you have to carry in your MH in France and many other places in Europe)
While the main reason for the protests is fuel price rises - which have crossed 1.60 a litre in some places - it seems they will be "blocking" access to lots of places including autoroute tolls...
I just thought those traveling through and around France might like to know. Fill up early and prepare for delays.
Might be a day to buy a bottle or two of Beaujolais Nouveau and stay on the EHU
