Panicking .. am I the only solo traveller ...

When I meet 20 couples, whether I'm there with Jane or on my own, I look on it as meeting 40 individual people. While there are exceptions, most couples are not welded at the hip & don't really like to be thought of as only existing as a pair.

Anyway, if you come visiting on your own, not only do you get our undivided attention, but you don't take up so much room in our little dinette.

You are right. No dogs allowed on the boat. It's an hour at most from getting on and off so hopefully you can leave in MH

@Ambilkate the boat doesn't take you far at all. Its more the novelty of going up in the only rotating boat wheel in the world. Was a bit of a farce first time last year but sorted for this year The boat goes up in the wheel, along the viaduct, turns in the basin and back. You get a great view from up there. @DavidG58 took some fab pictures last year but can't remember where he put them but you will find some rally photos from last year in my albums.
