Yes I know, I know this is a motorhome forum so there is no place for talk of caravans right? We have Freeview like everyone else, most of the channels are just tripe. While channel surfing the other day I came across The Caravan Show on Quest TV. Main point of interest is the tale of the restoration of a Berkeley Statesman caravan from the early 50's.

Apart from the fact that its the last surviving example, this caravan is unusual (unique?) in that has two storeys! Quite interesting to see the transformation from total wreck to good as new.

I believe that is a rerun.. Seem to remember it was first shown about 4 years ago ?

Looks like I was out a bit ! Just checked and it was first aired in 2007
But yes, an excellent program and worth a watch

Just watched a re run earlier today that was even older, 2005! Just a tad out of date.......... Apart from the curiosity value I'm not sure why anyone would watch it nowadays. Did learn something though, I never knew you pronounced Thule as "Toolay" !!!
