I think you are right the, you would have to have legitimate reason to travel the .Gov site currently says: Under current UK COVID-19 restrictions, you must stay at home. You must not leave home or travel, including abroad, unless you have a legally permitted reason to do so. I've done ok. What i lacked in academic's i made up for in common sense and street wise. And i had boring people to do the boring stuff for me like auditors, lawyers n stuff.Blame your “ word spell “ I’v now learnt to check what I’v written.
I hated school and spent as little time there as it was possible to get away with, my old man used to go nuts at my end of term reports. I could’nt remember a noun from a verb, top in art, top three in geography and history though, what use was that !
It did not hinder me in business and I learnt more after finishing an engineering apprenticeship and making my own way than when it was being forced down my neck.
I have several friends who were also useless at school but all went onto start and run successful business’s.
Is being a bit illiterate a social barrier? No, do’nt worry about it.
