Hi all, wondering if there's anyone on a site on the Algarve at the moment, where there is space available for an 8 metre van. This is our first time in the Algarve for Christmas and are looking for any recommendations for somewhere that won't break the bank.

Camperstop - St Bartholamew de Messines. Excellent site but need to be self sufficient power wise as no electric hookup, everything else though. Use of gennies allowed from 7-9 pm daily. Good price. Owner Andy is a member on here.

Camping Albufeira is relatively cheap.

Was at the campsites at Alvor and Albufeira at the end of October, for an 8m rig Albufeira is much more suitable although both were reasonably priced. Alvor was 13 euros a night with hookup, that was with an ACSI card though if you stop more than four days you get a discount which also makes it 13 euros. Albufeira is a similar price. There were plenty of spaces at Albufeira as its a large site, Alvor is smaller with unmarked pitches which are mainly uneven so levellers may be required.

One of the best sites in IBERIA,,very good restaurant in adjoining village plus a friendly bar,,Good cycling and walking.BUSBY.

Here's one we stayed last winter.
Change out of €10 a day incl. electricity.
You will need to ring them up in advance. Don't just turn up.

Short bus ride to Albufeira and a one mile walk to the beach, recommended.
