We've booked the Eurotunnel for Friday night, not sure where we're going; just heading south for two weeks. Trying to keep off the motorways to see some of the Countryside & finding a little bit of sun. We will be heading too the south of France for a few days before heading back up. Has anyone recently done a similar journey and could recommend some good stop off points or good routes too take on the journey down and the return back. Thanks

We drove down through Limousin to the med and back up the east side in February.
Troyes is well worth a visit, there are car parks in the town itself that can accommodate motorhomes..
Once you get down south, try and get to Carcassonne. Its an interesting drive over the Millau Bridge and then stay in the aire under it.
Turenne in the Corrèze department in Limousin is one of the most beautiful villages in France
Its a nice drive over the Midi Pyrenees too, lots of free aires as you travel up or down.
Almost everywhere else is nice too. Do as Chaser suggests and get the All The Aires book from Vicarious Books and have fun.
