ordered an upgrade for the cruise control yesterday.. arrived today, fitted in 10 minutes thanks to a walk through from Dave on the fone when ordered

I now have a cruise control with 2 memory positions ! :thumb:

You're very welcome John but the name is N E W E L L not newall ;-) . Might be a small thing but if anyone did a google (other search engines are available) for Dave NewAll goodness knows where they'd end up.

Got to try the new control head today for the first time. Really great to use .. Well pleased and well worth the upgrade

Must admit though, did not put it where you suggested although that would have been by far the easier option.. I mounted it on the right hand side just by above the ignition switch and directly under the wiper control

I could not really put it on the left hand side due to some radio gear already in that place :winky:

It certainly would have been considerably easier to install it where you suggested Dave, but even placing it in my cakhanded postion the whole install was less than 20 minutes :thumb:

Now I need to get a replacement plate for where the original head was fitted ( and has a hole in for the wire ! )
I know I could just put a grommet in the hole but I hate that ( and Grommet tends to moan when you try to stuff him in to small holes anyway ! :ROFLMAO: )
