We are just back from a 2 month trip which we have thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks in some parts to the help and advice given on this great forum. Not home yet, stopped of somewhere near the M25 last night. How do people get anywhere here!! Nightmare.
We visited places we have seen before and new places which were made more enjoyable thanks to your shared experiences. Some of you advised on campsites, things to see, recommended museums and my most favourite, the golden ticket trip in Lucerne. Expensive but excellent day, well worth it.
We are no longer funster virgins either, having met and had a drink or two with @Zains Pops in Chartres (impressive cathedral) on the same campsite. I spied his "fun" sticker and hope mine is behind the door when we get home.
Italy was new to us touring wise but is now a favourite and we plan to be back next year spending more time there than in germany.
