The French government has announced the end of the requirement for a negative Covid test for all fully-vaccinated arrivals into the country.

Let's hope Belgium aligns with France soon... Planning a cycling trip and their current PCR requirements make it virtually impossible to tour .

We came back from France this morning. Fortunately the Tunnel was very quiet because it was utter chaos.

We uploaded our API and Passenger Locator Forms yesterday but, when we arrived at the terminal, we were told that we had not done so. We were sent to the Eurotunnel Office to be “processed”.

When we got there we showed them their own e-Mail stating that our documents had been checked and were in order. They still insisted that they hadn’t received them.

In conjunction with them, in their office, we tried to upload them again. We couldn’t do so because their website informed us that we had already uploaded them and they couldn’t be changed!

It took Eurotunnel staff about 25 minutes to come up with a solution so that we could travel. We were not the only people with problems this morning. I don’t know if the problem was caused by a software glitch at Eurotunnel or by the ever changing rules for travel to and from the Continent.

Could this be the cunning revenge for Br3-8t!

We are driving from UK via Tunnel to Bruge and on to Netherlands next month.
If France does not require "Test" results does that mean we can travel the EU without taking tests ?

Belgium are still wanting PCR on day 1 & 7 but nothing if transitting. After day 1 test you have to stay put until result known which makes touring Belgium difficult. Many other EU countries are easing up… Norway similar to UK

No you still need to comply with the requirements of each and every country you are visiting unfortunately there is not a common set of rules across the EU yet,

Trying to fill out API for crossing Thursday via tunnel. Had to be done after 10.20 today - taken me this long since 10.20 [obsessive and panicking -moi? ]to do it despite pre departure LFT not needed . Form kept going wrong [mainly but not always me] when I was trying to download covid certificates which are valid until mid March ie long before return trip .
Still cant complete return trip for tricky downloading of covid passes grr [why?] internet in Alpe d often not great .. more problems ...
and I had added BLANK declaration of honneur docs ages ago before I knew we didnt need the LFTS [paid for and ordered with blood sweat n tears [again IT issues -me ] ]as I hoped it would help with this fiasco of forms as the time drew near .
Now cant access the certificates decl'n of H to fill in dates needed- but they have been validated and show as complete ... and my vaccine certificate is showing as incomplete and as being checked by someone IRL - everyone else's were done instantly with a big green tick.

Validation of covid certificate takes about 48 hours according to website so will be done Weds at 11.00 - we are leaving house in UK about then ! I have given up ... just gonna go - have everything printed in paper form [truth be told I may be a chalk n slate kinda gal !] xxx

Nothing wrong with printed paper, that’s how I’m going to show up at the border. I’m not doing anything online, did it before no issues.
