Testing EHU point

Twice recently the ehu bollard I first connected to have been dead on the camping-car park sites which I frequently use. Whilst other bollards on the site were working it is a pain, especially in the dark, unhooking and moving. I was wondering if there is a plug in test unit or similar which can be used prior to setting up?
