Looking forward to your pictures Gerry.
I have ordered the elegance furniture, dab radio, reversing camera and sat nav combined.
Thacham alarm.
Directional tv Ariel.
Waxoiled.
I bought twin 11kg gas low bottles complete off a fun member.
Polished stainless steel door handles.
Polished stainless steel grill trim.
Chrome mirror covers.
Stainless steel foot well protectors.
Bullfinch barbique point.
Waiting until we get the van to see if I can get twin 100 watt solar panels on the roof
Will also decide whether Shaude MPP controller or Victron.

It looks like we will both be very busy with our Globecars come March.

John.

replacement Berker Integro rocker switch with Light to show me when the heated wastewater tank is switched on.
Very sensible. (y)
I really don't know why they didn't do that in the first place. :( There is a light on the actual unit, but I imagine that yours, like mine, is hidden under a seat. I got caught out once, which won't have done anything for the life of my batteries. :(:(

Mind you - I can't complain too much. I didn't order the winterisation pack. It's a factory fit option & mine was a stock vehicle - except that it was factory stock not dealer stock. It wasn't listed on the spec the dealer had. I'm not sure the dealer even noticed it was there. There were a couple of other differences as well, both plus & minus, but I came out better off overall, so not complaining too loudly!

I just need to see where they fit the tv Ariel before I order the panels, also our new van is still in Germany, just waiting for delivery.

I would get in first & tell them not to put it where it will interfere with your solar panel plans.

There are more options as to where to fit the TV aerial than there are for the panels.

Nice place for your first trip out and if you enjoy it in this weather wait until the good weather comes. If your ever looking for good wilding spots near the town let me know.
Not been up the forest for a while due to being injured so doing some walking instead.

I’m running my compressor fridge at the moment 24/7 in the driveway with the van unplugged from the mains to see what current draw it demands and how the solar is dealing with it. It seems to want approx 7ah from the batteries from dusk till dawn, 12hrs on setting 4, and when i get back from work, the van is back at 100% capacity from the solar input. :)
