Just reading that Tesco is ending the 3 times value of club card point with their Reward Partners from next month.

So looks like we will have to pay full price for the channel tunnel once current codes are used up.

Get those point converted everyone.

Is that on their website this info ?

Is this for all reward partners. Know there is changes to their delivery offers?

As per others, there is nothing on their website and they usually give good notice of any changes, so I don't believe this affects all reward partners.

No difference to partner points, still 1:3 on Tunnel etc.

If you used to exchange vouchers to get cheap grocery deliveries the exchange rate will now be 1:1 rather than 1:3 as previously.

I only wish Aldi/Lidl did Ferry vouchers, we would like many be quids in.;)

Cant remember the last trip to the massive Tesco store near us, hate the pIace 2 miles to get round it!, never buy their Diesel either since dieselgate, remember? I think we have managed to accrue £50 worth of Tesco vouchers in the last 10 years, TinaL has to move them about in various accounts to preserve them.
Bon Voyage Folks.

Well that’s great to hear. I must have misunderstood the report.

And to think I can’t blame the drink on this one 😂😂😂

I too have stopped visiting our Tesco store, just order online for delivery, it's cheaper than the fuel to get there.
The reason I do not shop in the store, is that when they built the new 'Super' store, they used the ground floor for car parking. So to just 'nip' in to get a couple of items involves negotiating the lower foyer, using the very slow trolley escalator, finding what you want, queuing at checkout, back down the escalator. It takes at least half an hour to get just a couple of items.
Life is too short.

Apparently this was reported on Money Saving Expert a while back. (Must admit I’d missed that we could have used vouchers to pay for delivery plan, but we probably get more value using them for tunnel.)

Ha! Same thing when I went to pop into a Tesco in Belfast for a meal deal, whilst there on business a couple of weeks ago. By the time I'd navigated the up escalator, found my meal deal, paid at self-checkout, found my way safely down the sloping escalator for trolleys and got back to my car, I'd lost half an hour and the will to live :) . Mind you, I had certainly worked up an appetite.

Just use a Tesco credit card wherever you shop, we never shop in Tescos but buy everything on the Credit card including things like Insurance, As long as you pay it off each money it’s no problem. Ours is usual around £1500 each month we we get a free tunnel crossing each year.

That's what we do. We rarely shop in Tesco but use our Tesco credit card to pay for everything, so get Tesco points for shopping in Lidl, Aldi and everywhere else.

I see there are several different Tesco (Royal Bank of Scotland) Credit Cards, that perform different tasks, i.e one to move money, one to use as a personal loan account, plus a few more. No mention of I presume various APR's for each of them, I guess they don't tell you until you apply for one.
The reason I looked them up was because of the "rumour" that Tesco were closing their CC accounts, but had agreed an extension for existing customers of 6 months.
Life used to be so much simpler, see below.

Seems to be just deliveries, starting in November
Thank goodness for that ... I nearly had a heart attack!!!!

A very basic question.....

We have a Tesco Credit Card which is kept 'for emergencies' we use it perhaps once a year to keep it active and pay it off immediately.

If we used the said Tesco Credit Card to pay for all our spending, food, fuel, bill's etc, in non-Tesco outlets, does it accrue Clubcard points?

We already have a Clubcard account that tells us we have £1.50 in vouchers?

As Pagey said, yes it does, we use our Tesco Credit Card to pay for everything and we accrue Clubcard points for everything we spend on it, regardless of where we spend it.

We pay the balance off every month, so it costs us nothing to use but builds up Clubcard points, that we mainly use for the Tunnel.

Been using ours like that for years Barry, and have set up a monthly direct debit to pay it off.
You can easily keep track of everything via the Tesco Banking App on your smart phone, and set up alerts for every time a purchase is made on the card, lessening the chance of spending getting out of control.

I often ask Rita what she bought for XYZ pounds, at the XYZ store when she gets home from town. It winds her up that I already know how much she has spent.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Yes but the rate differs depending on where/what you're using it for.

Yes, definitely.

Apart from day to day spending we have paid for two package holidays this year with our Tesco Credit Card. (We pay the full balance by DD each month).

That has given us quite a few points towards next year’s Tunnel crossing.😎
