Hi all I’m thinking of going down Tenby area this weekend as weather is looking ok I normally go to Well Park in New hedges but it’s closed So does anybody know of a good campsite near Tenby or if they are all closed a good place to park up for a couple of nights

Hi Daz,
There are tonnes of places to park up in the Tenby area.
The Salterns car park in Tenby town has a few spots for MHs.
We love the Mill House camp site in Pleasant Valley.
There are camp sites everywhere and many will be open.
Look at the car park along the front at Wiseman’s Bridge. There are a few signs saying no overnight parking but they are not enforceable and as long as it is only for one night.
You can stay overnight at the New Inn car park, Amroth as long as you use the pub.
Hope this helps

If you get stuck then PM me as I have a few contacts in the local area.
Tenby over Christmas and New Year is brill!

Hi Dazz
Try this one

There may be more on the website.
We live near Tenby and would have offered our driveway but we have a million visitors arriving tomorrow until 30th.

As Toady says, there are quite a few spots to wild camp if you’re happy to do that. We prefer to wild camp but I know many prefer a site.
For parking during the day the car park by the regency hall in Saundersfoot has some dedicated MH spaces.

Happy Christmas!

South Beach car park , take road to the Station , go past and keep on that road till the end, bit of a bend and hill to car park but fine. Parking free but 40p for toilets!!!
Two spaces at the top of North Beach car par but think you still have to pay so like Salterns gets patrolled,

We were in Tenby last year and saw a young lady having a pee at side of toilets (so much for 40p ).As a matter of interest if you were desperate and had no change on you could you be fined for urinating in public?

Believe it or not they have a card reader so no excuse other than they should be free as an amenity and to discourage exactly what you witnessed!!

Brilliant these councils arent they - Visit Tenby but be ready to spend more than a penny! Our town's ought to be - visit Shrewsbury but keep a really good eye on the time! ( parking charges are ridiculous and apply up to 8pm and Sundays).

Great night in Tenby we stayed in North beach car park I parked up the Top end and the parking machine said every weekend in December car park free and this was the same in Saundersfoot and toilets on car park 40 p a visit
