Hi everyone
Can someone explain why on my lithium bms the temps are 1c but on the Victron smart sense they are 18 😂
I’ve only used this old smart sense this morning because I noticed my cerbo was at 6c and the lithium built in bms was saying 0c
So I then tried this smart sense to check it out further which gave the reading of 18c lol 🤷‍♂️
I do know you can adjust the offset in the cerbo which I’ve just done

So what is your Cerbo using to measure temperature before adding the Smart Sense?

If you have added the Smart Sense to your Victron network then your Cerbo will act on the Smart Sense temperature.

It's not giving a reading of the MPPT controller is it? Seems a more probable temperature for that.
No buddy I have a cerbo gx with a temp sensor running from the negative lithium to the cerbo temp port
I have dvcc setting enabled for shared temps so the mppt picks that up if I’m making sense
The smart sense is what I used to use before getting the cerbo and multiplus . But I used the temp sensor you get with the multiplus but instead of running it from the multiplus to the battery .. you can run it from the battery to the cerbo so everything shares the temp
but the temp is way out from the roamer built in bms it says 1c the cerbo shows 4c
The reason I got the old smart sense out to try this which said 18c
I will stick it to the battery and leave it a while see if it settles down

I have just used the offset in the cerbo to adjust the temp but it’s still not followed what it says on the lithium bms 🤷‍♂️

the cerbo has a temp sensor wire you use for a multiplus connected to the temp port of the cerbo which comes from the negative battery
it’s still connected
I just wanted to try the smart sense (just) to see what temps that said
I didn’t go as far to connect it to the smart network or to the mppt or anything
