Hi I’m thinking of buying a transit custom or similar to convert myself and was wondering if anyone has or knows where I can get some templates to make the units myself from MDF, any info is appreciated thanks

Weight will be your biggest enemy, thin MDF does not have much strength and can absorb moisture easily.

thanks for your reply bessy765, what would be the best material to use ply and use pva to protect it? Also do you know where I can buy some templates from.

There are lightweight plys specifically for van building typicaly Morlands Vohringer Magnums

lucky they are closed you could spend too much money walking around that place.
Dont think templates are readily available.
