Temp camping sites (Camping and Caravanning Club Site)

There is also an APP.. Very useful and easy to use... (y)

Yes, the app is good. It's a different one to the main C&CC one and is called 'Out and About'. :) (y)

Last week we did our first Temp Holiday Site fab weather and location (Barnham, West Sussex ) cost was £7.50 per night - certainly would try some more . (y)
We've stayed at Barnham on the C&CC THS. All good. (y)

We did Southport recently in the park. Great few days and location.£12 night.
The week after we did Bridgnorth, weather was a bit hit and miss but another good location and £8 a night (y)

They are ideal for cost effective breaks. I think there is one still on at York. Only a short walk into town down the side of the river.

Yes the York THS is very good, and easy access to York. Good pub marmeals local to site plus a larger selection in town. From memory they also had a limited number of EHU's.

I think THS sites are a no brainer cheap as chips come and go as you like. Last year we spent 3 weeks at our local one at Lancing. Only 2 miles from home and still went to work.

We use C&CC rallies & THS all the time. We usually go out with the Kent Motorcaravan Section and sometimes with the East Kent DA. They do find some lovely spots.

Yeah we use them , only reason we stay in ccc

Just back from the Beadnell THS this afternoon (North Northumberland coast) superb location short walk to the beach and great for rockpooling, dog walking etc, entertainment I marque 3-4 nights a week, loads for grandkids a lovely lady called Wilma runs a kids club all free. Cost £8 per unit per night regardless of numbers or dogs great value Club site literally next door £30+ pupn.

As others have said download the Out and About App saves trawling through the rather clunky club website.
