I’ve just bought a second hand teltonika 950 and I’m having a problem getting into
the 192.168.1.1 setting page.
I don’t if you can only access this with a laptop with Ethernet, as I’m trying to do it Wifi.
Yesterday the page did initially load and wouldn’t except the admin01 password.
Very frustrating and it could be going back
Any thought
Hettie's Crew has give some ideas but nothing would yet.

Has it been factory reset? If not then admin01 will not work as it forces you to change that PW. If it has had firmware upgrade it can disrupt the start up login process. From experience best to use Ethernet as opposed to WiFi.

Is the default password not just admin?
Have you tried doing a factory reset on it?

edit : oooops late again!

I’m not a computer whizz, what is a Teltonika 950 and what do you use it for?

Cheers, Russ

Initial setup is best done with laptop and ethernet cable.

Follow these instructions if you get stuck.

I’ve reset it as described on their webpage.

These are my thoughts if for some reason you can't use an ethernet connection and must do it over WiFi.

Can you see the router's WiFi signal from the device (tablet) you are using? It will have an SSID beginning RUT950.

Log in to this network. The password should be on a label on the router.

Once logged in enter Link Removed in the address field of your browser.

The default user is admin and default password admin01.

If the above doesn't work either use ethernet or do a reset.

:)

My iPad sees the router and I can surf but it will not open the 192.168.1.1 site, I did yesterday but would accept admin01 but since then I have reset it but will not open the page for me to try admin01 again.

I would double check what you are typing into the address field. Don't let it auto-complete and check there are no spaces after the full stops.

If you connect directly to a laptop via Ethernet make sure the laptop is set for DHCP.

Try clearing your browsing history and all cookies then re-enter the full router home page address including the 'http' bit and see if this gets you to the admin password prompt.

Finally got it working , had to use Ethernet cable and luckily my MacBook Pro has a Ethernet port.
Just got to find WPA settings, need to change to WPA3.

Anybody set the data limit, thought I would in readiness for going to France next week but I went into settings and set up the data limit and as anything I’ve tried to change the router doesn’t work after and I have to factory rest the router.

With the aid of YouTube I’ve managed to set the limit ready for France next week.
