Hi all,

For the life of me I cannot remember how to do the following.

Using a Teltonika RUT240 router supplied by Maxview and currently onsite that’s given us free WiFi but I can’t to be able to connect my vans router (RUT240) to the sites WiFi.

I can find the WiFi ok but I cannot get the sites login page to pop up to ask for the password.

If for example I log in via my iPad a page pops up asking for the sites password but I cannot get that page to show up when I’m trying to use my router.

Any ideas?

Have you seen this video on how to connect the router to the site Wifi rather than the mobile 4G mast?

That's the first stage, where you connect the router to the Site Wifi and establish a connection. Once connected, you need to show the login page - sorry I don't know exactly how to do that, never tried it.

Seen those but in the video it pops up asking for a WPA password but the connection I’m using has a pop up page.

Also when I click scan the sites WiFi when I connect to it says “The access point has no password protection” hence I cannot enter the password.

Once you have connected to the site wifi, you hit a login page. You can't proceed further without the website login username and password. The wireless connection password is redundant, so often, as in this case, they don't set a password, ie you can just leave it blank. You need to do this connection to set up the wireless link. The next stage, the login page, I don't know how the router can do this, if at all. I've had a few different routers in the past, and some do this, some don't.

Try going into advanced settings and disable/untick "DNS rebind attack protection" then try
Don’t have that option.

Yes found it, turned it off and saved.

Rebooted router.
After a while the site password page popped up and I entered the password so thanks.
