Good afternoon,

I just wondered if anyone can provide a link to a decent Ariel for the TV. The one on the van was deleted a long while back. Not missing it exceptionally- however, for a rainy day it may be worth while.

Apologies if this has been a topic before, I did have a search.

Kind regards,
Ryan

Had one of these for years in the caravan, used to pop the roof up and put it outside, they work really well. When we were redecorating the bedroom it also worked in the house, perfect reception.

It's an indoor aerial, but might be ok for you for occasional use, it collapses flat for storage.
Antiference silver sensor.

A few quid cheaper on amazon too

Good Afternoon Ryan although I have a sat dish and a Avtex TV I’ve always carried a Avtex STH3000 Ariel not the cheapest but never let me down, when the camp commandant insists I park my MH under the trees

I bought one of these £35 plus postage and I’ve had very good reception, there are others advertised for a lot less but wouldn’t risk the same quality.

What does that receive? Is it the freeview digital TV signal? What is the significance of the 50 mile range?

@Nasher have you shortened the cable at all, As I’m considering shortening the cable on ours.

John.

I have inserted a piece of flat co-ax cable near the aerial that velcros to the inside of the top of the door frame. That way once I set the aerial up on the roof, I just leave it in situ. The back door can be opened & closed no problem & I drive around like that.

I also put a right angles connector on the tv end because it fits the tv(s) better.

That's the long answer - short answer: yes!

Go to Maxview get the ROUND ONE that looks like a football, it comes complete with cable and aerial booster box £85 . Ive had mine 25 years and still going strong. Its been all over Europe, Middle East and North Africa on the back of my Truck, it now sits on the roof of our campervan.

Easy, see above
Can't work it out. Surely it's a physical item do not deleted. May be removed, replaced, upgraded, refurbished but deleted?
Did I delete my tyres in June? I thought I had replacements or are the buzz words, 'having my (tyres) deleted on Saturday (day may vary).
I deleted my washing machine,? Sorry I don't get this deleted bit

You need to get a hobby, it's not really a big issue (no I am not selling them :D). Read the replies to help you understand what the OP meant by deleted, simples (y)
