Hello all.
I have a MagicSat Easy as it is no longer functioning correctly. The dish rises, scans and does appear to lock on to Astra @28 degrees. The control box shows 'SAT' in the display and the LED for Astra 28 stops blinking and stays solid.

The problem is that the receiver is showing 'no signal'. Cable has checked out OK.

I installed an analogue sat finder meter in line between the output of the black box and the receiver. When the dish scans and then locks on, the signal is perfect, but as soon as 'SAT' appears in the display, the black box receiver output drops out and no signal strength is shown on the meter.

Any ideas?
Thanks, Stephen.

I assume you've already applied the update available from Teleco last Autumn.

The update included changes to the transponder settings for Astra 2.

Don't own one yet.
SOLUTION FOUND - Install the below from PULSAT.COM.
Master goes to Teleco Easy Sat. Sat

Dish goes to....the dish! and Slave goes to your digital satellite TV Receiver box. You will require a short coax patch lead to go from the switch to the Teleco Easy Sat. Works perfect. As soon as the Easy Sat locks on to the satellite and the LNB voltage drops, the switch then automatically switches over to satellite receiver :)
