Taxing vehicle - help please

Can someone have a look on the vehicle tax website and see if they can get it to work, it wasn't working for me yesterday, nor today,

I can’t readily check on the page you’ve linked (don’t have a reminder) but it seems to be working fine on the “check vehicle tax status “ page.

I cleared cookies, ran malwarebytes, defragged, updated anti-virus etc but to no avail (no issues/bugs round), so in the end I turned off the internet connection and restarted it and lo and behold it's working for me now ... weird!

Tried that link and others too but none of it would work ... but since I turned the internet off and on again it has now decided to work thank goodness.

Internet Baaaaahhhh, it's crazy how nine times out of ten a switch off and back on solves most things. Quiteoften try to solve it in other ways but always end up with the reboot option . Don't know why I don't make that the first option , would dramatically reduce my stress and blood pressure.
Now that the van's taxed you no longer need to drive up sidestreets, that are way too narrow, just to avoid the police.

I’m not much good with computers phones, wi fi or smart TVs . If things don’t work, I always switch them off and turn them on again. Nearly always fixes the problem.

Do you use a VPN? Some sites won't work if they think you're using one. For example iPlayer, even if you're using a UK Server in the UK will often block.

Sometimes the DNS Lookup gets corrupted... you could trying using the DNSFlush command...

Or you could switch the computer off & back on again

It must have been a combination of their site not working and my internet provider as the internet is turned off every day and then back on again so in effect resetting it but I still had the issue for 2 days running ... at least its sorted now so the tax will continue (it was already taxed but would have run out at the end of March).

I sometimes have this when searching through the 'internet explorer' so switch to 'chrome' (or vice versa) I would imagine Apple would be 'Safari' and 'Firefox'
