Tavira- Is there anyone at the Aire (1 Viewer)

Greetings,

As per the Headline.

We have friends who are staying at Ria Formosa at Tavira but they have cautioned us
re the availability of a pitch.
The sites management have a connect with C&CC who run a Winter Sun pitch booking
there throughout the Winter.
The management utter the mantra "We are Full" even though we know they ain't

Our friends have pointed us in the direction of the below which is a new Aire in the town.

Is there anyone there at the moment or, if you have been recently, can you give us
an indication as to occupancy when they were there etc.

We're is the new Aire.
I have seen them park down by the market but they get moved on.

Don’t know about that new aire, but all wild parking is actively discouraged by the authorities throughout the Algarve recently, there are often articles in the local press, either highlighting the issue, or promoting the many new Aires opening frequently to address this.

Fines were issued in Silves last week. GNR came round about 5pm and said nothing as parking allowed till 8pm. Guess they then passed by in the night and arrived am and fined the vans parked. Luckily they fined then only for unauthorised parking but issued a warning for more should they be caught again .

The new Aire is near Continente, near the railway up the dead end road. Not been but it looks busy from a distance, I think the details are now on Campercontact.

The Aire is busy, quite a few spaces on Monday but close to full now.
Exactly where matamoros says, no noise from trains as the seem to pass quite slowly and about 30 minute walk into town.
