The cream leather seating in the van looked lovely in the showroom but should have known it wasn’t practical......
Have managed to stain the leather at the base of the seat back of the drivers seat due to some tarnishing of the metal buckles at the back of my belt and I’m now in the bad books!
Have tried washing up liquid and warm water, and a mixture of vinegar and water without success. Tried dabbing it with alcohol - no use. Acetone-free nail polish remover did remove the stain in a small test area but also appears to damage the surface of the leather and I didn’t pursue this further.
Have any of you funsters had this problem and any suggestions to remove the stain without damaging the leather would be gratefully received.

My car has cream leather seats too. Whenever I spot a stain/mark I clean it off with Autoglym leather cleaner. The blue of my jeans often gets transferred but does come off.

If it won't come off, there are quite a few firms out there who restore automotive leather, including changing it's colour - so you could get the stain covered over, or you could change the whole colour to something more practical.

Don't know about Glasgow but if you're coming south these lot seem to get lots of recommendations, not used them myself - near Warrington.

Stepdaughter thought it a good idea to have cream carpets through the house... Looked nice.
Then she married a man with a dog.....
Then she had a child....
Looked nice.... Once.

As practical as a tissue paper hat in a monsoon

Seconded. It is well worth getting a proper leather cleaner and protector rather than use anything that could damage the leather.
