Best way to get rid of stubborn bits of parcel tape left on bodywork?

I.... I mean someone else taped up my reversing camera holes with parcel tape to protect against a sudden downpour.

I think with the heat it's kinda deteriorated in to a sticky mess.

Any ideas how to get it off easily?

Tar remover then clean with isopropyl alcohol.

A dab of petrol on a rag always does the trick.

Brake cleaner, WD40, or petrol are my standard options

My first thing to try is dabbing with an adhesive tape (like duct tape) - that will quite often lift residues without resorting to chemicals. After that, out come the solvents - IPA usually, as that's to hand and gentler than brake cleaner to most finishes.

WD40 works well. As does IPA if you have some
