Tap Water Connections

Can anyone help please as to how I uncouple this pipe. I need to release both hot & cold to replace a washer

I might be wrong but they look like the speed fit type if so you push in the black collar to release the pipe.

Relieve any water pressure in the pipes.
Push the black ring into the metal collar while pushing the pipe into the collar.
Keep the black ring pushed in and pull the pipe out.
To reconnect just push the pipe back in making sure it's fully in

I forgot the bit about relieving the pressure. We used the same fittings for air pipes on the buses. Our foreman spent ages trying to separate a joint with air pressure in the system.
