Tap trouble - well its not really (1 Viewer)

The problem explained - both the hot and cold water from the bathroom/shower tap is just a dribble.

The problem in context.
1. Tap has been replaced with a brand new tap. Problem not solved.
2. The kitchen tap provides excellent power, both hot and cold, so the pump is working properly.
3 . Cold supply to toilet flush which does not have it's own tank, works fine.
4. The tap has worked properly in the past, but can't think of anything happening that could have affected its proper operation

Only cause I can think of is the cold and hot water pipes are kinked somewhere between boiler an tap but would appreciate any suggestions from people who may have had a similar experience.

I would take the tap out and see what the water flow is like straight out of the pipes. If still no flow you will just have to follow the pipes back, if it's not the tap it seems odd that both hot & cold are affected.

Is it a pressure system or micro switched tap, if a micro switch, it could be the switch, the wires they often break in the tap or the 12v supply to the tap or between the tap & pump.

Is there a contact in the tap that is supposed to start the pump when turned on?
If the kitchen tap and bathroom tap are on together, does the flow in the bathroom increase? If yes, then you have a pressure on demand system,band if the case, it's likely to be a wiring problem between the tap an the pump solenoid.

Otherwise, the system is constantly pressurised. In that case, difficult to see how it affects H&C. Only way is to trace the supply pipes back checking for links, something trapping it, or possibly mice damage causing a leak.

The water pipes in a MH are flexible plastic. If they are bent too sharply they can kink. Especially if they go through a storage space and things are packed in tightly. Can you follow the pipes to check?
