Does anyone know how to disconnect this tap from the two water pipes?

I need to get the tap out in order to re-assemble it after replacing the microswitch and there is no play in the pipes.

Thanks for any help

I don't have microswitches but i thought the big black plastic nut at the top unscrews to allow tap removal. The two water pipes usually just hand tight screw in when asembling a new tap.

You can't except with a Stanley knife! They are compression fittings. I had to do the exact same thing last year. Bathroom sink? I found replacement microswitches from Rapid Electronics for a few pounds for two. The blue and red pipes join into the main water pipes behind the trunking. I think that's where I split the pipes. I'll take some pics after lunch (I'll have to disassemble the shelves/trunking!). I had to replace the kitchen tap also as that one leaked. I don't remember having to buy anything.

We also have a T660 like yours!

It doesn't actually need a picture!
Remove the trunking. Getting the shelf out is the hard part. 6 screws in all (for the trunking not the shelf!).
You will see the junction between the blue and red pipes where they join the white (with a stripe) pipes. There is a spring clip around the white pipes which can be "uncompressed" with a pair of pliers and slid down the pipe. This will then allow the joint to be disassembled. You will need to cut the wires to the microswitch and use a choc block to rejoin them. When the pipes are reconnected reposition the spring clip using a pair of pliers again to uncompress before repositioning.

I hope that helps

Brilliant help guys, thanks.
Trunking removed = easy
Spring clips released and slid down = easy
But - looks like pipes have some sort of glue to secure them

Don't think I had any "glue". Possibly some sort of sealant? There are ribbed connectors that may be a bit tricky to get the white pipes over (perhaps heat them with a hair dryer?). I may have cut the pipe below the connector and removed the remnant by splitting with a Stanley knife. You may be able to pull a couple of cm of pipe from under the cupboard. Can't quite remember from 9 months ago!

I have previously cut the pipes somewhere convenient/accessible and re-joined them later using plastic internal straight connectors (about a quid each) and jubilee clips. It doesn't seem to have restricted the flow.

Many thanks to you all and especially Stevec. Nothing like first hand experience on the same make and model van!
Job now done, new switch working and no leaks on the joint. Perfect.
I love motorhomefun - brilliant forum.
