Looks like they use it as a climbing wall now? Cool pics and would be quite creepy at night. I think i would watch a zombie movie and then take the dog for a late night stroll if i was camping there!
Yes some bits are climing wall others have been used for other things , theres a few wee bar/cafe things dotted about too.

It's well lit at night lots of floodlights
But funny enough I am watching the latest episode of walking dead at the minute ha ha

One day you might just get France, one day.:ROFLMAO:
I doubt it

The first time I visited it back in 1992 I liked it.

Since then ....I'm not getting what's to like
Dont like the food
It's too expensive
It's cold and wet
If you can't speak french you're a villain
Full of stuck up folk

Belgium ,germany and Holland cheaper , Belgians and germans speak to everyone and most have spoke to me in english
Holland I'm not sure yet lol

I'm in arnheim at the minute

Must be you, we always find Belgium & Holland dearer than France, particularly Holland, French food is great.
Germany is cheap but a lot of the food is crap.
As for the weather our two trips to Spain & Portugal this year it's been warmer in France than either Portugal or Spain.

Hmmm I'm just going on gas and fuel mainly.

Haven't eaten out since spain and Portugal so dont know how it is for that

But diesel
€1.04- 1.19 diesel.....€0.69 lpg spain
€1.35-1.46 diesel....€0.72 lpg portugal
€1.46 -1.65 diesel ... €0.89 lpg in france
€1.30-1.37 diesel ... €0.40-60 lpg belgium
€1.20-1.25 diesel ....lpg €0.50 -.65 germany

Holland diesel €1.30 lpg €0.54

Supermarket food stuff I dont notice as much as only used lidl since portugal so much the same just can't get some stuff I like and anything sweet is more expensive in France

Bread though €1 a loaf in spain a croissant is €0.29
In france and Belgium bread at least €1.79 for same stuff ( I buy sesame seed bread)
And croissants €0.49

Oranges I can buy cheaper in asda than in any of the above countries lol

Dont pay too much attention to food , but generally I think my food bill in spain was €25- 30 a week using mercadonna . It's more like €50- 60 now using lidl

Good job you turned around when you got to Italy, most things there are eye wateringly expensive.
Two euro per litre for diesel on the autostrada was quite common.
Cheaper in towns but not that much.
I see the yellow vests are protesting agsin this weekend in France

You'd think there was only one seat in this van.

And every time I dare move jade growls at me.
The little one in my avatar is no longer with us. She would always sleep as close as possible either on my lap or stuck down the side between me and the sofa. However, when she got old - about 13/14 ish she would growl when disturbed and then started to suddenly wake with a snap at the nearest thing, maybe bad dreams, who knows. In my case the nearest thing my thigh - ouch! In yours ................. :D2

Here's another of my victor meldrew moments but I'm sure folk will agree

They complain about the internet taking money away from the high street and retailers etc but here's a perfect example

So I check my oil pretty often and while I've no leaks it obviously uses a little somewhere , baring it mind it's due a service when I'm home and I've so far done 11500 miles since january but van has done nearly 15000 since last service now
Terrible I know

Anyway when I checked oil yesterday I thought it was getting close to the minimum so figured I best buy some and top it up

So went to a parts place this morning which i knew would be dear in Belgium but no prices on the oil so when I took it to the counter and he rung it up and said €31.85 for this 5 litres of crap I've never heard of I was shocked but i need oil and the 1 litre bottles probably not enough and at €12 not a sensible buy anyway.....but jeeso

For this !!!!!
20191118_112613.jpg

Now you may not think that's bad

But when you compare it to the 2 bottles I've just bought on Ebay of a branded oil already discounted and with a further code to discount it further I've just bought 10 litres of shell oil online with free postage ....baring in mind that's 10kg posted for less than the bottle of crap from the shop
Screenshot_20191118-113901_eBay.jpg

So £26.66 for 10 litres delivered to my door

No wonder shops are dead and it's their own fault
