Competitive dogs, anything Milo can do Jade can do better ? They do appear to be enjoying their life on the road.
Boy are they competitive and jade can be a bitch to Milo....she will take a bit fruit or treat even if she doesn't like it and she'll leave it on the floor and lie a few feet away waiting for him to go near it then she goes and snarls and growls at him etc ...he sits there looking at me and whining as if to say tell her dad she doesn't even like it ....but i want it!!!!

A few pics from albufiera, spent the last 2 nights parked at the mercado central as it's quieter than the official aire and closer to the town ....but gonna move to the aire today for one night as I need to use the services...it's hot but there's a breeze at least.

I'm starting to feel a little imprisoned again unfortunately....it's a catch 22 as it's too hot to leave dogs in the van alone during the day but also too hot to take them out so after their morning walk I feel we are cooped up in the van most of the day till it gets cooler again in the evening:( gets a bit boring and I'm suffering from cabin fever to be honest. So will see if the aire is better as at least there are people around.

Never ceases to amuse me watching the complete mission some people make of emptying their cassettes. Gloves, apron, carefully measured out chemicals, 10 minutes with disinfectant cleaning out the little locker the cassette goes in

French of course

But there's been others

Always a chuckle

I agree: my routine is empty, 2 gentle swills, take the bio capsule out of my pocket, drop of water in, slam back in locker. job done - 2 mins.?

My routine is empty, splosh of bio, back in locker 30seconds, rinsing only makes it smell.
Yep I only rinse my second cassette the one I use all the time I just empty and put back in locker. Drop a bio tab in first pee I go for

And i just wash my hands rather than the gloves nonsense

When our horses get eye infections I use Golden Eye Ointment - the human eye treatment. It gives good results on minor eye infections. I assume it's safe to use on dogs?
The spanish equivalent is what is prescribed here for general eye problems on dogs.

Seeing those photos of albufieria makes me want to be there ,been every year since 2008, and never tire of it, for tam and anyone else who is there or thinking of going, look out for a street/bar singer in the old town named , Nuno ess, we think he's brilliant.

Hi tam ,we are going to France for a month & will be using the odd campsite as a treat but mainly flt sites ? and aires , I was wondering if you find having a second toilet cassette a big advantage? , I was thinking of buying a spare before heading off
We always carry a spare but the only place its essential is Greece. Had to use it once in Spain earlier in the year didn't realise the Aire we were on the services were only open 8:30 to 11:30.

Not really needed in France, found a couple of times services have been out of order but nearly always somewhere else within a few miles. The only time you might need one is if doing a lot of wilding in remote areas.

God how I had being behind a Frenchie at the services. When we service the grey is draining, I'm emptying the loo and the boss is filling the water.
The French are incapable of multitasking they have to spend 20 min doing one after the other and then they get their squeeze out and start cleaning the screen. At that point I drive up their arse and rev my engine a few times they usually get the hint.

I always found it amusing when hooking up the big 3" hose to dump the black tank on the RV the number of spectators it attracted both in UK and Europe :ROFLMAO:

Yeah I've always thought it was mad , unless you aren't going to use the toilet again till next trip whats the point. I rinse my spare cassette as i don't often use it so prevents any possible whiffs but not the one in use

That's why I need mine as my fresh water outlasts one cassette so having the 2 gives me 8 or 9 days wilding

Yep, no concept of time or the fact that others are waiting.
I wonder if thats why they park 2 foot away from you on an Aire maybe its because they are totally oblivious that there is another Motorhome there. :D

So I moved to ferragudo the wee town opposite portimao, stayed here last year but the spot I was on no motorhomes allowed now so I'm at another bit near the castle.

Can't complain though as the view is rather nice ?
