My son has a Talbot Express Camper with a suspected cracked cylinder head, any info regards source of spares/ engine welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Dave.

What engine is fitted at present? Looking for a replacement head maybe the lowest cost option. Definitely easier to fit than an entire engine ;)

to replace the heed it's far easer to take the engine out I have fund if it's the 2.5 td I think the head I have in my garage will fit

Thanks for the input guys.
The engine is an early 2.5D which is overhead valve, not OHC.
The camshaft appears to run through the gearbox bellhousing with a pulley on the end.
This pulley then drives all the pumps etc.
Bottom end is good to a head will fix it, failing that any engine/box that I can graft in will do.
Even a petrol will be better than nothing.
Thanks again.
