A few year, but got different van
Hey guys, wonder if anybody can help me, heading back home from luss today & my van broke down just starting losing power then cut out & wouldn't start again, the oil light came on & the battery light on aswell. Pulled over left it for a bit then it started up again then I had to change batteries over to get it to go again, since I've had the van 2years the battery light has always been on, what could be causing this problem? Any advise or help would be appreciated. Need to get this sorted as need the van for t in the park panicking a bit.

Hi:thumb:
We have a Talbot express and had the same trouble with the battery light after changing many parts we found it was the relay switch on the passenger side under the bonnet (this was on ours) its like a little square box about an inch square. Its serves the 240 to 12 v. Before we found it we have had a new alternator, coil and starter module.

Thanks
