Taken the plunge (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

After some deliberation, I am in the process of purchasing my first motorhome. It's a 2007 Hymer Tramp T656 with only 6700 kms on the clock and has a Renault 2.5 150 bhp diesel engine. I would be very interested in hearing the opinions from anyone who owns this model (or similar), but dont know if it was sold in the UK.
Should also say that we have been resident in SW France since 2005, so really looking forward to taking to the open road (red tape permitting and Mr. M. King sending me some readies !).

Hi :welcome: to motorhome fun, :thumb: I would say a good first van, most people change after a couple of years when they have decided what they really want. Or sometimes think that's what they really want.

You have a good start on us, being in France, great place for camping cars, :thumb: we will be over on the 26th for 6 weeks cant wait. Bob and Jane.
