We were in Europe recently and needed some Ibuprofen. It did not occur to us that most European countries will only allow you to buy medications in a pharmacy. We had to pay 7.20 Euros for 10 pills 400mg. We pay about 38 pence in Tesco. So, the moral of the story, make sure you have a supply with you just in case.

I made the same shock discovery in Belgium. Nearly 8 Euros for some Rennie's - enough to give me indigestion let alone cure it
