I have searched and can’t find a thread that mentions removing a push down table. We have removed the screws and it won’t budge. Has anyone removed a table like this? Is there s mechanism under the floor? I know all the threads say there isn’t but not seen one like ours so very nervous!

Looks like you have not also unscrewed the round “knob”? We have similar and removed it also.

the base is bolted to the floor, there is nothing beneath the floor.

DDuffs said the push button has to be removed. But concerned we are going to break the mechanism
Having looked closely there are variations on this type of table so wondering if there are different makers. Mine certainly does not have a push button at the base but has a locking lever under the table top for locking down and when up. Mine is spring loaded so it has to be sat on to keep down then locked on the lever.

Ah ok, mine was tightened/loosened by hand with the knob. I think it was spring loaded like yours. Have you tried giving it a little persuasion in lifting it off? Without be too heavy handed?

The push button is for rotation of the table 360 degrees. We have a lever for locking as well. We have to push down manually for lowering and another lever to lock in place.

I was "involved" in the removal of a table recently. the first time the owner tried to remove it, it wouldn't budge, but the next time, when it would have been nice to get it out the way to do some work in the van, removed the screws and still seemed secure, but a little knock and it was freed. the table had been stick down with adhesive as well as screwed down.
So just give it a bit of a waggle around and see what happens :)

Oh, and SO MUCH BETTER with the table out the way!! why these makers think people want the entire space taken up with a massive table is beyond me!

Completely agree and that’s how mine was removed 👍

I can understand that caution.
In "my" case, the owner had tried before and failed, and when we tried again, it certainly felt like something was holding it down even after the screws were removed, but it suddenly started moving :)
