T type barbed edging (1 Viewer)

Our 2057 compass Avantgarde is showing its age ,one of the most annoying is the soft vinyl t bar edgings ours have shrunk ,does anyone have any advice can they be warmed and stretched ,or is replacement the only option ,we used lots of this type of edgings ,hand applied and in large powerful edge banding machines in the wood working in industry.And I had never heard of them shrinking like this ,Some were of course glued but many were t barbed just like the ones in our compass.Any advice would be welcome .
