There is a label near the power box in the MH garage. It says if the vehicle is not used for 2 weeks please turn off. If I turn it off will the solar panel still keep the batteries charged.
If it makes any difference it’s a Carthago.
Thanks

Presumably it's to stop your leisure batteries continually being charged by your 240V charger in a van not being used.

How old is the van?
They have been using multi-stage charges at least 15 years they are OK to be left on.
Your solar will charge the leisure battery but depending on the set up it may not charge the starter battery. You can check by measuring the voltage on the starter battery if it's sitting at around 13.8v it's getting charged.

Thanks, We have nothing to check it with.
The van is 18months old. I understood when we had the solar fitted that charged the starter battery as well.

I would send Carthago an email and ask the question.

Doesn't it show the starter battery voltage on the LCD control panel?
