Switch in bedroom above garage Burstner T695 (1 Viewer)

Hello all, we keep knocking the switch on accidently, when getting in and out of bed, it's on the side of the cupboard where the boiler and water drainage valves live. I suspect it's something to do we heating, but cannot find any references in the manual. Can anybody help by letting us know its function and the consequences of it being left on for extended periods, if switched on accidently. Thanks in advance for your replies, cheer, Rich and Dawn.

I'd guess the same; if it is it won't cause damage as it will be thermostatically controlled.
