The main advantage of the Swiss Farm site is it is a much shorter walk into Henley than from the CAMC site. I'm not sure if it is still there, but it-s the only site we have ever visited with a toilet-cassette cleaning machine installed. We tried it a couple of years ago when it cost about £2 I think.

My old bosses son is a keen rower and she's forever posting clips of Henley, It looks lovely if is the same... Henley On Thames.

Henley Marlow & Hurley are a nice area of the Thames.
Hurley is a bit more exclusive for residents.
I’ve forgotten it’s celebrity residents now though (it being +20yrs since I had work in the area).

My recent exposure is as a user of the Riverside Park site. The kevenh’s liked it & the location.
There are nice walks on the riverbank or inland.
Can’t remember visiting the local country pubs. For our long weekend they were off route or shut on Monday, iirc
The pub in Hurley was friendly for a quick pint. Didn’t check food.

Hurley is a regular location on Midsommer Murders and there's some strange things going on in the village tonight on ITV

We stay at the CMC site down the road but regularly use Swiss Farm for a drink , a bite to eat ( fish and chip night is v good ) and an ice cream by the pool . Staff are very very friendly and as its set back from the road you dont get the traffic noise you do at the CMC site .
The site itself is very well laid out and maintained. Enjoy.

Back from Swiss Farm. What a great site. Great little shop in reception. Main toilet block open and kept spotless and safe. Showers closed. Large covered area out back of the bar/restaurant so meals/drinks all available under a large canvas roof. Short walk into Henley on roadside pavement. Lots of facilities, chemical/water points. Will definitely return. On Riverside Park, Stratford on Avon now who could definitely learn a thing or two from Swiss Farm.
